Anran Zhou (she/her), MS, LAMFT

Warm, affirming, empowering therapy that centers culture

I work with couples, families, and individuals who want to feel seen and heard, and who long for a sense of belonging. In our work together, we’ll focus on building your strength and authenticity, aligning your values and experience, and allowing for deep connection with yourself, others, and the world around you.

If you find you are struggling to believe you are enough, or to deal with the weight of racialized trauma, immigration, or cross-cultural issues, wishing for less anxiety or depression, or seeking less conflict and more peace in your relationships, I can help.

How I Work

I see people and relationships through anti-racist, intersectional feminist, LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally sensitive, and trauma informed lenses. I have special expertise supporting members of Asian/Asian American communities, and navigating the relational dynamics of interracial/intercultural couples. I believe language accessibility is extremely important to mental health care, and I am happy to provide services in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

As a systemic therapist, I see our lives as embedded in visible and invisible relationships and contexts. Together in therapy, we will examine the factors that shape your lived experiences, interrupt patterns that no longer serve you, and create the new possibilities you desire. I deeply value partnering with my clients, and appreciate your expertise on your goals, identities, and experiences.

All of us have untold stories waiting to be heard. I look forward to hearing your stories and walking shoulder to shoulder with you along the daring yet worthwhile journey toward healing.
